Refusal analytics: which products, regions and ads cost you money
Rampo will show the pickup rate by product, by region and by ad source, so you can see where refusals come from. This feature is in development. Your overall pickup rate and losses in hryvnias can be calculated today — for free.
- Pickup rate by product
- Pickup rate by region
- Refusals by UTM ad source
Honestly: refusal analytics by product, region and UTM is in development. It will arrive after the KeyCRM, SalesDrive and Horoshop integrations — product and ad source data live in your CRM, not in Nova Poshta. Already available: the free pickup-rate audit, the call list and a pilot with a control group.
Why an overall pickup rate is not enough
An 86% pickup rate is an average for the whole shop. Inside it there may be a product that is refused every fourth time, a region where parcels are left uncollected twice as often, and an ad campaign that brings orders but not money.
While you only see the average, decisions are guesswork: cut ads everywhere, require prepayment from everyone, raise prices. Refusal analytics lets you act precisely — where the losses are biggest.
Example calculation. A shop sends 1,200 COD parcels a month with an 86% pickup rate — 168 refusals. If it turns out half of them come from two ad campaigns and one product, the decision is obvious: rewrite the ads, clarify the product description or ask for partial prepayment on those orders. The rest of the catalogue and ads can stay as they are. Without breakdowns the same shop only sees “168 refusals” and can only guess where to start. Every refusal costs at least shipping and packaging, so even a few dozen saved parcels a month is real money.
How to calculate your overall pickup rate by hand is covered in the article pickup rate: formula and benchmarks.
What refusal analytics will show
All reports use parcels with a known outcome only: “undetermined” is never counted as a refusal.
Pickup rate by product
Which products and categories are most often left uncollected — a signal to check the description, photos, size chart or price.
Pickup rate by region
A map of Ukraine with the pickup rate per region. See where payment or delivery terms should change.
Refusals by UTM
Pickup rate by ad source and campaign from your CRM. Ads that bring cheap orders but expensive refusals become visible.
Weekly trend
How the pickup rate changes week by week: after new campaigns, catalogue changes or launching reminders.
Losses in hryvnias
Not just percentages but what refusals cost in each breakdown: shipping, returns, lost margin.
Repeat refusers
Later — checking a buyer before shipping and offering partial prepayment to those who refused before (Pro plan).
Where repeat refusers come from
Refusals are rarely spread evenly. Typical sources shops find when they look at breakdowns:
- Ads that drive impulse purchases — the person ordered on impulse and changed their mind before the parcel arrived.
- Products with unclear size or look — expectations did not match reality.
- Long delivery to remote regions — the buyer managed to buy elsewhere.
- Repeat refusers — people who have left parcels uncollected before.
That is why refusal analytics needs CRM data: Nova Poshta knows the parcel status but not which ad the order came from. More in the article repeat refusers: where they come from and what to do.
How refusal analytics will appear in your dashboard
Now: audit and pilot
The free audit shows your overall pickup rate and losses. During the pilot Rampo sees your parcel statuses daily via the Nova Poshta API.
Soon: CRM connection
KeyCRM, SalesDrive and Horoshop integrations will add product, delivery region and UTM tags to each parcel.
Soon: breakdown reports
Pickups and refusals by product, region and ad source — in the dashboard and in the weekly “how much we saved you” report.
Questions about refusal analytics
When will refusal analytics be available?
After the CRM integrations launch. We do not promise an exact date — write to us and we will let you know when it is ready.
Can I see the pickup rate by region already?
Not yet. Available now: your overall pickup rate in the audit and the group comparison during the pilot.
Why connect a CRM if there is Nova Poshta?
Nova Poshta knows the parcel status and amount but not the products in the order or the ad source. That data is in your CRM.
Do I need a Nova Poshta API key for analytics?
Not for the audit — an Excel export with 4 columns is enough. For daily analytics, yes: a separate key, only after signing the offer and data processing agreement, only two read methods. More on the data security page.
Are “undetermined” parcels counted as refusals?
Never. Parcels without a known outcome are shown separately and are not counted as losses.
Which CRM will be supported first?
We plan KeyCRM, SalesDrive and Horoshop. See the integrations page.
