About the service

What is Rampo and who is it for?

Rampo is a service for online shops that ship cash-on-delivery or payment-control parcels via Nova Poshta. We calculate your pickup rate and losses in UAH, give you a list of parcels waiting at branches twice a day, and remind buyers to collect them. The pilot and plans are for shops with 300+ COD parcels a month; the audit is for everyone.

How does Rampo reduce unclaimed parcels?

We find COD parcels that have arrived at a branch or locker but have not been collected. Your manager gets a sorted list with a Viber button, and on the Auto plan reminders go out automatically — on day 2 of storage and the day before paid storage. The control group shows how many parcels this actually saved.

How is this different from the SMS my CRM already sends?

We do not switch off your SMS — it continues for both groups. There are three differences: reminders are tied to the storage deadline, not to a status change; impact is measured against a control group; and refusal analytics by product, region and ad source is coming. If there is no uplift on top of your SMS, pay-for-results costs zero.

Nova Poshta already notifies the buyer. Why remind them again?

Nova Poshta's notice usually reports the arrival and does not come from your shop. A reminder on day 2 and the day before paid storage is different: it comes from the shop the person bought from. Whether it works for you is shown by the control group, not by our words.

Do you guarantee a higher pickup rate?

No. An uplift such as +3.5 percentage points is a hypothesis we test in a pilot with a control group. If there is no effect, we stop, and with pay-for-results you pay nothing.

Pickup-rate audit

How do I calculate my pickup rate?

Pickup rate = parcels collected ÷ (collected + not collected) × 100%. Count only COD or payment-control parcels that already have an outcome, i.e. shipped at least 20 days ago. Parcels with an unclear status should be counted neither as pickups nor as refusals. More in the article on pickup rate.

What do I need for the free audit?

An Excel export of about 60 days of shipments from your Nova Poshta business account, keeping only 4 columns: ship date, status, COD or payment-control amount, delivery cost. No API key needed. Step-by-step guide on the audit page.

Why only 4 columns?

Because nothing else is needed to calculate pickup rate and losses, and extra data means extra risk. If the file contains any other column (for example names, phones or waybill numbers), we do not process it, delete it immediately and send you instructions on keeping only what is needed.

How long does the audit take and what do I get?

The report is ready within 1 business day. You get the pickup rate for parcels shipped 20–60 days ago, the number of refusals and the monthly losses in UAH. If more than 3% of statuses cannot be classified clearly, we review them by hand before sending the report.

How do you calculate losses on refusals?

Losses = number of unclaimed parcels × round-trip delivery cost. We take the delivery cost from your file or, if it is missing, use 180 UAH by default. Parcels with an unclear status are never counted as losses.

Pilot and control group

How does the pilot work?

The pilot is free and lasts 21 days of shipments plus 14 days for every parcel to reach an outcome. On day 35 you get a report: pickup rate in the reminder group, in the control group, and the difference with its margin of error. The pilot is for shops with 300+ COD parcels a month.

What is a control group and why do you need one?

It is the buyers we deliberately do not remind. During the pilot — those whose phone number ends in an odd digit (half); after the pilot — permanently 20% (last digit 1 or 3). Everything your shop already does continues for both groups, so the difference in pickup rate shows the effect of our reminders. More on the methodology page.

Won't I lose money because some buyers get no reminder?

The control group gets exactly what it gets today: your calls, SMS and Nova Poshta notices continue. You lose nothing compared with now; that part simply does not get our extra reminder. And control-group parcels are not billed.

What do "pp" and the margin of error in the pilot report mean?

Pp means percentage points: if the pickup rate rises from 86% to 89.5%, that is +3.5 pp. The margin of error shows how much the result could vary by chance; we compute the standard error of the difference between two proportions and show it next to the effect. We draw conclusions only on enough parcels with a known outcome.

What happens after the pilot?

There are four possible outcomes. Effect confirmed — we move to a plan and invoice. Too little data — we extend the pilot free. Small effect — we offer pay-for-results. No effect — we stop.

Pricing and payment

How much does Rampo cost?

List — 2 UAH per waybill, Auto — 4 UAH per waybill, Pro — 6 UAH per waybill (coming later). The monthly minimum is 990 UAH. The pilot is free. Details on the pricing page.

Which parcels do you charge for?

Only COD or payment-control parcels outside the control group. We track control-group parcels but do not bill them. The invoice shows this as a separate line.

How does pay-for-results work?

You pay only for the extra parcels picked up thanks to reminders, compared with the control group. The amount can never exceed the Auto plan and never go below zero. The rate is fixed per quarter so the invoice does not depend on one month's random swings.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer against an invoice from a Ukrainian sole proprietor (FOP), in UAH. The invoice is issued monthly and shows how many waybills were tracked, how many were in the control group and how many were billed.

Will the service pay off for my shop?

Try the loss calculator. In the example with 1,200 COD parcels and an 86% pickup rate, a +3.5 pp hypothesis gives ≈ 14,600 UAH a month in benefit, while Auto costs ≈ 3,840 UAH. That is an example: the audit shows your numbers, the pilot shows the real effect.

Security and data

Is it safe to give you a Nova Poshta API key?

A Nova Poshta key has no read-only mode, so we are very careful. We take a key only after the offer and personal-data processing agreement are signed, ask for a separate key, call just 2 read methods and store it encrypted. You delete it with one button. More on the security page.

Which Nova Poshta API methods do you call?

Only two read methods: the shipment list and shipment statuses. All other methods are blocked in code. We do not create, change or delete anything in your account.

How long do you keep parcel data?

Call lists live for 2 days and parcel data for 90 days, then they are deleted automatically. We treat waybill numbers as personal data. Servers are Hetzner in the EU (Germany or Finland).

What do you send to Telegram?

Only aggregated numbers: how many parcels are waiting, for what amount, how many go into paid storage tomorrow, and a link to your account. No names, phones or waybill numbers.

Which documents do we sign?

The public offer and the personal-data processing agreement — electronically, with the document version and date recorded. You can also upload a signed PDF if you prefer. Without these documents we do not take an API key.

Reminders and parcels at the branch

What should I do if a buyer has not picked up a parcel?

Remind them while the parcel is still at the branch — ideally on day 2 of storage and the day before paid storage. Write in your shop's name and mention the item, the branch and the deadline. Once refused, the parcel returns to the sender automatically, so act early. Templates in how to remind a buyer.

How many days does Nova Poshta store a parcel for free?

At a branch — 5 days not counting the delivery day; after that storage is paid. Lockers and some shipment types may have different terms, so check the current rules on Nova Poshta's website. More in the article on paid storage.

Who pays for the return if the buyer refuses the parcel?

Return terms depend on your contract and Nova Poshta's rates, and they have changed over time. So do not rely on rumours — check the current terms in your business account. In the audit we count at least outbound shipping and packaging, and show the paid-return scenario separately.

When and to whom are automatic reminders sent?

On the Auto plan — on day 2 of storage and 1 day before paid storage, only to buyers in the reminder group whose parcels are still waiting at a branch or locker. Viber first, and SMS if Viber is not delivered. No repeats beyond the schedule.

Whose name do reminders come from?

Your shop's: via your SMS alpha name and Viber sender. The shop registers them with the provider, which takes 2–4 weeks, so apply early. Until then, the call list with a Viber button does the job.

Integrations

Which carriers do you support?

Nova Poshta via its API for now. Ukrposhta and Meest are planned for later, as are carriers in EU countries.

Do you integrate with KeyCRM, SalesDrive and Horoshop?

It is in development and marked "soon". Through these systems we plan to receive UTM tags and order items to show refusals by ad source and product. The call list and reminders do not need a CRM integration. See integrations.

I sell on Prom or Rozetka. Does this work for me?

Yes, if you ship orders via Nova Poshta with cash on delivery or payment control. We work with Nova Poshta shipments, so the order source does not matter. More on the Prom and Rozetka sellers page.

Do you work with shops in the EU?

Not yet: for now we work with Ukrainian shops and Nova Poshta. Expansion to EU countries where cash on delivery is common is planned for later, with their own carriers and euro pricing.

The best answer is your own numbers

A free audit shows your pickup rate and losses in UAH within 1 business day. No API key, no personal data.
